The new Hunter AFV by ST kinetics is now available in 1:35 Scale. Made by Resin Scales, the Hunter AFV model kit can now be preordered for USD230 before shipping at the company’s website, and should make it out of production by May this year.
The Hunter AFV was designed by ST Kinetics specifically for the Singapore Armed Forces to replace the aging M113 APCs in service. The ability to swim was sacrificed in order to achieve sufficient protection (a NERA armour kit). It carries an unmanned Israeli Samson 30 turret made by Rafael, armed with a 30mm Bushmaster Mk.44 Autocannon and two internal Spike-LR or Spike-LR2 ATGM launchers that are usually hidden in the turret and only appear when the vehicle is ready to fire. The true strength of this vehicle lies, however, in its integrated ARTEMIS Battlefield Management System that allows it to work as the ultimate infantry force multiplier. The Hunter is one of the most modern IFVs in service.
