Alien Versus Predator: Akaoni Samurai Predator by Hot Toys
Get ready for the stunning return of a fan-favorite to your sixth scale collection. Hot Toys have collaborated with the legendary artists Mr. Takayuki Takeya (竹谷隆之) and Mr. Yuji Oniki (鬼木祐二) to produce this new 1/6th scale Samurai Predator Collectible Figure, inspired by Alien vs. Predator.
Inspired by the concept of Akazonae—traditional red armor worn by samurai warriors, the Akaoni Samurai Predator features an eye-catching design with rich red hues dominating the armour, including the helmet, shoulder and chest armour, gauntlets, and waist pieces. With this reinterpretation of the Predator in samurai form, every detail has been meticulously crafted, from the articulated jaw and interchangeable mandibles to the sculpted lamellar skirt. The figure comes armed with a range of weapons, including an articulated shoulder cannon, a metal samurai sword, a broken sword with a corroded effect, four additional swords, an Alien tongue trophy, and an Alien head trophy. A stunning diorama base, depicting the Alien’s defeated corpse, perfectly complements the scene, telling the story of Samurai Predator’s victory.
A Special Edition of this release includes an exclusive samurai helmet featuring a decorative crest with the Japanese character “髑” (Doku), symbolizing a distinctive mark of the samurai warrior.
